Writers in the AI race | World of prompt engineering

I have been wanting to write this since long time, but just not being able to get that corner to sit calmly and put my thoughts and I guess today is the day. And, for you my reader, guess what, let's read something purely authentic today. Now for the new age writers, how to maintain authenticity in the AI-led world, is what you will crack by end of this article.

Let's imagine the 'No AI World'

• No 'rephrasing' or 'regenerating' or 'restructuring' the content

• No way, let's not find a 'tagline' or a 'CTA' for new offer or solution from GPT or any other LLM

• We don't want one paragraph on 'something'

• No synonyms, antonyms, acronyms, full forms or 'simply another word' for 'anything'

• No, we don't want to comprehend, enhance, shorten, or replace 'something' with a prompt

• No grammar check today

And there is so much more to add here, The list is never ending. Believe, me you can't go back to the 'No AI world' you have to live with it and you just can't escape it anymore.

The GenAI world is interesting and exciting but certainly it can not win the human ingenuity or a writer's place. I remember when GPT was launched, writers around me used to say - it all sounds so robotic, the content generated from chatGPT or any other LLM and I used to agree with them. But over the time, when I myself have had tech copy delivery targets on head, I have realised, how leveraging GenAI can streamline content curation, enhance efficiency and reduce TAT with effective prompt engineering and content strategy of course.

The good thing about, leveraging AI for content is that it still requires a great strategy and critical thinking and therefore one needs to know how to use it effectively in order to achieve success. Okay, I have curated something here, let's read the below:

• Hey AI, no, please don't rephrase the sentence 'But just not being able to get that corner to sit calmly and put my thoughts and I guess today is the day'. (You know where it's coming from.)
  

• Hey GPT/Gemini, no, I don't need a synonym of 'Transform'
  

• No, please! I don't need 'Topics on what to write next' or 'what's trending right now in the AI space'

• List out some of the AI use-cases for the healthcare space - Nope, let me do a bit of studying and connect with a few doctors, KOLs and understand their perspective or thought process.

• 'Wind' , 'breeze', 'calmness', 'soothing', 'behold', 'nature' - write a poem containing these words - Nope, not today, even though I found this beautiful poem with this prompt. (Well, I will put it here, anyway at the bottom of the article, since I kind of found the poem a soothing one :))
  

And so much more, well 'Prompt Engineering' is 'nothing less than a everyday companion' now.

The world of AI is promising and certainly brings in a lot of exciting adventures across the eco-system, but not without having a firm and strategic human connection, thought process and creativity. It's extremely important to leverage AI effectively and strategically; 1) to make AI-led transformation a success , 2) to establish that connection, 3) to seize the day and form a long lasting impression or impact!
